We are a little gun shy when it comes to non Apple power cords. We have bought a couple of them in the past and they just seemed to be cheap, and they shorted out in no time. Then that leaves us with with no cord. So we were very surprised when we got this cord. This thing is rugged and we love how long it is, most non-Apple ones that you get are short. Its prefect for people like us that are kind of rough on their cords. We would almost say that this cord is better than the apple cords. Big recommendation from us.
