Amelia's 1 Month Update

Our baby girl turned one month on December 8. And Amelia is getting so big, when she was born she was 6 lbs. 15 oz. At her one-month appointment she is now 8 lbs. 3 oz. When we were leaving the hospital she was so tiny, it was hard to get her into the car seat. But we eventually got her situated with the help of the nurse. On the way home we were pretty worried that something was going to happen, but I guess that is the case with most first-time parents. But everything was okay and we made it home safely. We have three dogs and I was pretty sure they would all get along great with Amelia. I did think Penny are Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix would be scared of her because she is scared of everything, but she loved her sister.
Unfortunately Cody's job does not have paternity leave so after a week he had to go back to work. I get six weeks and it's going to be really hard going back to work after being with her for that long,  even harder because I will be going back the week of Christmas.
As new parents you learn things. Like sometimes you have to wait when they go to the bathroom to change their diaper because they may not be finished. I remember one of those first days me and Cody were changing her diaper, as we were changing her she started going again, it was an explosion. All we could do was laugh. It's those memories that we will share with her one day when she is an adult and laugh about.

Every day I see her growing and getting bigger. My little girl is so long and skinny. Right now she is still wearing newborn clothes, size 0 to 3 months is still too big for her. Newborn diapers are too tight, and size one are a little too big she is in that in-between stage. When we were in the hospital she was having trouble eating at first, during one night she only had 5 mL. This is why she was a little jaundice and we almost had to stay an extra day. But now she is up to four ounces and she gets really impatient when her bottle is not warming up fast enough. I love watching all the little things she got from us both. Like when she strecthes she makes alot of noise. She got all those grumps and groans from Cody. When she yawns she makes this little hissing sound after, and I'm like, thats me I do that. Oh and she makes the best faces. Another funny thing she does is smile and laugh at the racoon on her wall when we change her diaper. We love watching her grow bigger and bigger each day. Well I think that's all for now, see you at her 2 month update.

PROXI Cleaning Products Review

PROXI has an amazing line of cleaning product and we were very anxious to review all the products. There are 12 different products, from Home Care, Personal Care, and even Oral Care. You can find the products at proxiproducts.com. Now let's get into the reviews:

PROXI Daily Shower Cleaner- The shower cleaner is a great product. It has kept our shower free from mildew and soap scum with just spraying it after each shower. It's such an easy product to use.

PROXI Multipurpose, Bathroom, and Kitchen Disinfectant Cleaners- The disinfectants work great. They can clean almost anything,  we love to use the Kitchen and Multi-purpose on the kitchen counters. The products work great with very little residue. The only downfall is that sometimes you get a white residue on your hands, from the peroxide.

PROXI Dish Soap Concentrate- The dish soap is another great product. It did a great job cutting grease and leaving no residue.

PROXI Automatic Dish Detergent Pods- These worked great in the dishwasher the dishes always came out spotless.

PROXI Foaming Hand and Hand soap- The hand soaps were pretty awesome they always left our hands feeling clean, hydrated, and smelling great.

PROXI Body Wash and Body Wash for Men- The body wash was fantastic, they have lots of bubbles that gently cleansed our skin without being to harsh or drying it out.

PROXI Anti-Cavity Whitening Toothpaste- Cody really liked the toothpaste because it left his mouth feeling fresh and clean. I didn't really like it, I couldn't get past the peroxide taste.

PROXI Mouth Rinse- The mouthwash was really good at killing germs and removing stains but neither one of us liked the taste.

Kicking Horse Coffee Review

Kicking Horse Coffee is a pretty amazing company, they have all different kinds of coffees, teas, and chocolates. Today we are going to be reviewing one of their coffees, Kick Ass. It is a dark strong blend that is sweet and smoky. This is some great coffee. Cody is a big fan of strong coffee so he loved it. I, on the other hand, usually like a medium roast. But I did love this coffee it's not overpowering like most strong coffees. We got the coffee beans but they also sell ground coffee. If you are a coffee fan I really do suggest you try this coffee. If you're not a coffee fan then you should try some of their teas.

Tuna Squish Review

The Tuna Squish is an awesome little gadget. Its a very useful product for any tuna lover. But it doesn't only work on tuna it will work on any caned meat. You see the main goal and tag line of the Tuna Squish is NEVER TOUCH YOUR TUNA. And it does just that. The product is very easy to use.

Step 1- Place opened can in Tuna Squish and squeeze the handle closed.
Step 2- Turn sideways to drain the liquid.
Step 3- Separate handles, magnet in upper handle lifts lid off can, remove can.
Step 4- Press fin button to release the lid into the trash.

Its that easy, no more worries about cutting yourself on a sharp lid or getting messy tuna juice everywhere. If you love tuna and eat a lot of it, we recommend this product. You can purchase one at tunasquish.com. They retail for $9.99.

A Tate Update

Hello everyone it has been quite sometime since we have wrote a post. Some of you may know why and some may not. At the beginning of this year we found out we were going to be parents. For those first couple months the morning sickness was pretty bad. But on November 8, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Amelia, into this world. She was 6 pounds 15 ounces and 19 inches long.
Throughout the pregnancy I had something called white coat syndrome where almost every time I went to the doctor my blood pressure was high but when I would check it at home it was always normal. Because of this they wanted to induce me at 39 weeks. We went in to the hospital on Thursday night at 6:30. I did not start to dilate until late Friday night. But when I started to dilate I went from a 1 to a 9 in a matter of three hours and was unable to get an epidural, I was able to get pain medicine to help with the contractions. And luckily because I could feel everything it only took about five pushes, maybe 15 minutes, for her to come out. Because the pain medicines were still in my system she wasn't breathing right away but when she did and I heard that cry it melted my heart. Me and Cody are totally head over heels in love with our baby girl.
