BabyVue Video Monitor Review

 

Today I've got a baby product by BabyVue to tell you about. I've been using it to monitor Amelia after she goes to bed at night in her bassinet. It's made of a really lightweight plastic. The screen display is clear but there is a slight delay in the feed and sometimes it loses the connection. I really do wish it had a zoom feature but that is not something that is a necessity. I love that the display shows the time and the temperature. But I have had an issue with the temperature. We keep our house around 73°. Sometimes the monitor will show that it is up to 78° and sometimes it will show that it is as low as 69°. There is an air vent close to where the camera is so that might be affecting that function. I'm not really a fan of the lullaby function because there is no way to turn the volume down on the camera and the lullabies are kind of ear piercing, they all sound like Christmas music. When ever I would turn it on it would scare my daughter awake. We usually play music for her on one of our iPhones anyway. When I received this product to review it was priced at $149.97, which is way to much for this product. Since then it has came down to $69.87, that's a much better deal. So overall if you need an inexpensive baby monitor for keeping track of your little one then you should check this out. If you are not worried about how much you are spending, then I would go with a different baby monitor.
