Snug Baby Monitor for Smartphones Review

I have to say this Wifi Camara, made Snug, is pretty awesome. I've been skeptical of using a camera that is Wi-Fi. But I have to say I'm loving it so far. We used while we were on vacation to Disney World to check on the pups. It worked great and gave us a lot of peace of mind. We are not currently using it and our daughters room but when we move her to a toddler bed this will be perfect. Right now I use a baby monitor that I can leave on all night just in case she needs us. With this camera you check in on the app to see what's going on it's not something that you would leave on all the time. So if you're looking for something for a small baby this is not the monitor I would recommend. But it works great for a bigger child or even as a home security measure or just to check in on the pets. We didn't have any problems with set up and the app is very easy to use. This is a great product.

Check up on your baby while you're out and about with the SnugCam wireless video baby monitor. Safely monitoring your baby has never been so easy.

Simple 10-minute set up
You can easily connect this video baby monitor securely to your home Wifi network and smartphone in under 10 minutes. First, connect the camera to a power supply and your home router. Second, download the free App for your device. Then tap "Add Device" and enter the camera ID (located on the bottom of the camera) into the app, and press "Finish". That's it! You can then unplug the camera and move it anywhere in the house. A more detailed set of instructions is included with the packaging.

Monitor your child from anywhere
With this baby monitor video camera you can watch your child from literally anywhere as long as you have Wifi, 3G, or 4G enabled on your device. Whether you need to run out for a quick errand or you're gone for the whole day at work, ensure your infant stays safe at all times until you get home.

Audio and Motion Detection Alarms
Get alerts to your phone or tablet if the camera detects movement or sound. The app does not even have to be running for the alerts to come through and you can set the sensitivity in the app. This means you don't have to watch the screen to know your baby is OK

Free App available for download
The official SnugCam App is available for free download in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. That means you can use this baby monitor easily with your iPhone. Once you've downloaded the app, all you need to do is enter the camera ID, and you'll be set to use and control the SnugCam with your smartphone, tablet or PC from anywhere.

Baby Footprint Kit Review

This product is pretty cool for any parent out there, whether your child is under one or 10 years old. It's always cool to have memories. Amelia just turned nine months Saturday so it was a good time to get her hand print. They took her hand prints when she was first born so it's really neat to compare the two. We used this product to put her hand print in a keepsake book and also on one of the cards that they provide. Now the hand prints definitely are not perfect. Amelia is not very cooperative these days, I guess that's what happens when a baby is teething. We think this kit is pretty awesome. It comes with excellent directions, three cards to put the print on, two ink sheets, and two wet wipes to clean your babies hands. This is an excellent product for making keepsakes that could last a lifetime.

Take your baby's hand or footprints safely from home with these non-toxic, lead and latex free, infant safe ink print kits. Perfect for baby book, baby frames, scrapbooks, photo albums, and home-made newborn birth announcements. Works on most papers and porous surfaces. Our premium quality ink strips pick up every fine detail of baby's print and resist fading over the years. Use more ink for very dark prints and less for lighter prints. Can be used for older children and adults too -- just apply multiply times to cover entire surface of hand or foot. Easy wipe off ink is perfect for great looking, archive quality prints that won't fade over time. Great prints.  A must have for every new baby registry.

Easy@Home 3 in 1 Non-contact Infrared Thermometer Review

If you have a child you know the difficulty of taking their temperature. They wiggle, it's a constant struggle to get them to stay still long enough to get a normal thermometer to work. With this thermometer by Easy@Home it's really easy, like it's name. All you do is hold it up to their fourhead for a few seconds press the button and you have their temperature. We even tested it compared to a normal thermometer and it was the same. Another thing I love about this thermometer is that the screen changes colors depending on the temperature. Amelia hasn't had a fever since we've had this thermometer so I haven't got to see it do that yet. And I really don't hope too anytime soon. This is a great product for all the parents out there.

Product Description:

Experience quick and simple temperature taking with the Easy@Home NCT-301 non-contact, infrared thermometer. This easy to use thermometer has the latest infrared technology to display accurate readings within a second. There is no longer any physical contact necessary to get a simple temperature reading, it should always be this easy!

Non-Invasive:
Instead of startling or irritating your children, this thermometer reads at a distance and notifies you silently. Eliminating physical contact decreases the chance of cross contamination between users while silent monitoring will not disturb them. The thermometer has a beeping sound to alert for high temperatures, however this feature can be disabled so that no sound emits while taking measurements.

Tri-Color Display:
The LCD display will show one of three colors based on the temperature. Not only does this display make reading temperatures easier in the dark, but the three colors indicate different ranges. A green display (<99.1°F (37.3°C)) indicates normal temperature, yellow display 99.3°F~100.2°F (37.4°C~37.9°C) indicates low-fever and red display >100.4°F (38°C) indicates high-fever.

Excellence Guarantee:
We offer a lifetime no hassle replacement guarantee for customers.

How to Take Temperature:
1.Clear forehead area of any hair or perspiration.
2.In 'Body' mode (default), aim to the center of the forehead from a distance of 1.2 - 2 inches.
3.Press the scan button and wait a second for the display to show the reading.

Wood Egg Shaker Review

Today I am reviewing this very cool wooden egg shaker. It can be used as a musical instrument or just as a toy, your child will love it. Amelia loved playing with it, she was fascinated by the sounds it makes. It kind of sounds like a rattle. It's made really well, very sturdy. Almost feels like its made of one piece of wood. Trust me Amelia has dropped it a lot and there's not even a scratch. Another reason I love this is that it is the perfect size for her to hold in her hand. I highly suggest this for anyone that has a child that loves the sound of music, which most babies do.

• Excellent musical instrument for all musical skill levels
• Great gift for children, kids and babies
• Sharp rattle (not muffled) with warm, mellow sound and pleasant-level loudness that does not become obnoxious over any period of listening
• Countless sounds possible, depending on how you play it
• Each one is unique in terms of both aesthetics and acoustics

Sherman the Sheep Plush Toy Review

When I first got this for a review I did not realize it was from a TV show. I just thought it was an adorable little sheep. I was right about the adorable part but wrong about it being little. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this plush. I really expected it to be a size where my daughter could hold it in her hand. It is unbelievably soft and did imagine how cute it is. Amelia loves it, she is always hugging it and as you can see from the picture she likes to give it kisses. If you're looking for a plush that is the durable and still supersoft I recommend Sherman the Sheep for your child.

• Soft, cozy and just the right size for babies and toddlers
• Free standing

Silicone Hippo Teethers Review

If you have a baby who is teething you know sometimes it can be rough. Me and Cody have gotten really lucky with Amelia, she hasn't really had too much trouble. We have tried giving Amelia many different kinds of teethers and she hasn't really shown much interest. But that doesn't mean teethers won't help your baby. Teethers are a natural way to sooth a teething baby by massaging it's gums. And this one is absolutely adorable. It looks like a hippo and you can get it in green or pink. It's made really well with little nubby massagers on the backside.  If you have a baby who is teething and loves to chew on stuff then I would definitely get this teether.
